20 vs. 45

The use of high resolution catheter is increasing. 20 MHz IVUS is still valuable due to its convenience without saline flush. Higher resolution catheter system shows more delicate contours of vessel and stent. Blood speckles are more than 20 MHz IVUS. 20MHz IVUS shows less clear interface between tissue and lumen/stent with side lobe artifact.
