Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffolds

BRS struts appear as a double-layered structure as shown in this image. Polymeric struts do not cause acoustic shadowing, the composition of the plaque behind BRS can be evaluated. The determination of dense calcium and necrotic core in the plaque behind the scaffolds is limited due to interference of BRS artefact. The corresponding case is available in OCT.
