- Description
Neoatherosclerosis is defined as the accumulation of lipid-laden foam cells within the neointima of stented arteries. Necrotic core formation, calcification, neovascularization or thrombotic complication can be combined. Calcification(asterisk) was combined within the neointima which is a strong clue supporting neoatherosclerosis. The corresponding case is available in OCT.
