Very late Stent thrombosis

Drug-eluting stent was implanted 7 years before. A lobulated pattern of thrombus is visualized as an intraluminal mass which can either be attached or floating within the lumen. The lumen-thrombus interface is clear, but thrombus causes partial dorsal shadowing of the stent struts in OCT. High backscatter on the surface and highly attenuated, Inhomogeneous thrombus with irregular lumen. The corresponding case is available in IVUS.
