The use of OCT guiding is basically same compared to IVUS guiding. The assessment of vessel size, lesion length and plaque morphology is similar. And measures the stent (expansion, apposition, dissection, etc) is also same with high resolution. As reported, the measurement of de novo lesion was 8 % smaller and the stent measures was 4% smaller than IVUS measure.
