Calcified nodule

Calcified nodule(CN) is an accumulation of nodular calcification (small calcium deposits) with disruption of the fibrous cap on the calcified plate. A protrusion of a signal-poor region that appears heterogenous with a well-demarcated border. The corresponding case is available in IVUS.
