Malapposed stent

Malapposed struts are common immediately after stent deployment. The stent struts are not in touch with the vessel wall at 2 to 5 o’clock(arrowheads). The distance between vessel wall and strut is different to define malapposed strut among types of drug-eluting stent. Xience stent was used for this case, ≥100 µm can be defined as malspposed The corresponding case is available in OCT.
